See you again next year!

GENERAL

01 Jul
We are always getting asked about when’s the best time to show up to the fishery. Its hard to say for definite but we always seems to have a shift change of anglers on Sundays, Wednesday and Fridays, with Sunday afternoons arguably being the best time to arrive.

Many anglers seem to think that all lakes are permanently full and you can never get a swim, this is far from the case. We can get exceptionally busy on weekends, especially on bank holidays but even then its very rare that we are completely full, in fact during the last two years we can only remember this happening once (the recent Easter Bank Holiday).

Below are the number of swims on each lake that were free at roughly midday Sunday 22nd just gone.

(Number of Free Swims)
Brasenose-One (33 swims free)
Brasenose-Two (30 swims free)
St. Johns Pool (24 swims free)
Manor Farm Lake (14 swims free)
Oxlease Lake (32 swims free)
Hunts Corner Lake (4 swims free)
Hardwick/Smiths (39 swims free)
