Rod limit is def 3, all baits work, its an all round water, a lot of match style carp tactics, the tighter to the opposite bank the better.usually small hookbaits pva bags etc. Fishes well all year round.

what is the rod limit on Ivel Valley and also what are the best swims as the best fish i have caught were off the top last summer(16lb Common) also do you get good results during the night as i want to do a night down there over the next few weeks.

the baits tht work well for me are small pineapple boilies plus tutti frutti boilies i tend not to catch the biggest ones usually 13 pounders
just wandering how ivel valley has been fishing this winter. anyone catching?
