Many fishing clubs and associations throughout South West of England offer fishing on their club waters 365 days a year with subscriptions starting from as little £30 per year. Compare that with the cost of day ticket commercial fisheries and you get an idea of what good value many fishing clubs are. Plus you get the social aspect of being a club member with outings, club and inter-club fishing matches and social events.
