It is an idyllic family destination within an area of outstanding natural beauty, less than an hour’s drive from Exmoor or Dartmoor. All guests at South Farm can enjoy stunning views and share the wonderful facilities, and free fishing on their lakes.
Their fishing lakes are naturally spring fed from the adjoining hills, which ensures a fine stock of hard fighting Carp some in excess of 20 lbs, plus specimen Roach, Tench, Silver Bream Crucian Carp over 3lb and Perch all in prime condition. They are confident that you will find the lakes and their tranquil and beautiful surroundings to your liking and that you will return again and again, like many of their regulars, to seek out some of their more elusive specimens.
The full complement of accommodation sleeps 46. Perfect for large groups and families to celebrate special get togethers like Hen or Stag parties, special birthdays or anniversaries. Their wonderful Farmhouse (sleeps 10) and its annexe, Oaktree Cottage (sleeps 6) is often let together to sleep 16 but can be let separately. They also have Stables Cottage (Sleeps 6), Cinders Cottage (Sleeps 6), their seasonal Carp Lodge (sleeps 6), Coshes Garden (sleeps 5), Lake Cottage (sleeps 4) and Swallow Cottage (Sleeps 2).
