One of Temple's most sort after fish NEMO has recently been caught at a stunning 42lbs 15oz at Bury Hill Fisheries in Surrey. Temple regular Gary Brown has just banked one of the most sort after prized fish in Temple, ‘The Ghost’ weighing a whopping 39lb 2oz. In immaculate condition, a number of anglers witnessed the catch as well as Bury Hill’s fishery manager Chris Wilmott. Following this years mild winter and with the arrival of an early Spring, the fishing has been surprisingly good with another two BIG mirrors banked on Temple this weekend. Before the start of the latest Angling Trust & Canal & River Trust Stillwater Championship qualifier held at Blythe Waters on Saturday 26th July 2014 the 29 competitors were very apprehensive as to how the venue would fish. Greg Boothright from Wandsworth rounded off a brilliant Halloween day session at Bury Hill Fisheries when his mackerel strip hookbait was snapped up by a stunning 14lb zander, one of the biggest of the season so far. Sailing Lake Predator fishing has again been nothing short of breathtaking with countless double figure Zander and Pike hitting the banks.
