Holewood Farm is situated in Crowborough East Sussex which has always been a beef and cattle farm but with the difficulties that farming has endured in recent years we have had look to other methods of business and for the last 18 months we have researched and planned to turn one of our fields into a lake and private syndicate.
With the help of our son (Ashley) who is a very keen and knowledgeable carp and coarse angler who has kept and bred carp in our existing lake we are planning an exclusive lake, dug and designed by carp anglers to ensure the ultimate fishing experience.
The Field is situated next to the existing private lake that is used by family and friends who enjoy fishing, The new lake will be fed from the existing lake which is fed by a stream during the winter months ensuring a good supply of fresh water.
The carp are being purchased from www.vsfisheries.co.uk which have a fantastic scale pattern and great growth rates.
The whole of the farm is in an area of out standing natural beauty and rich with wildlife which will be enhanced and encouraged with the creation of the new lake. We already have a wide range of wildlife ranging from deer, owls, buzzards, newts and toads, The field has an old oak tree which we are keeping and creating a feature island (see pictures above) with a planned owl box to hopefully get nesting owls in, imagine watching an owl fly out across the lake at dawn or dusk !!

Calling all Anglers, we are looking to invite People to become Founding Members and help support the building and stocking of the new lake,
For early payment of your first years membership (£300) you will get amongst other things ..
- Invite to witness the digging of the lake and see it take shape.
- Invite to the stocking days with your photos taken with some of the fish and witness the specimen carp being stocked.
- Invites to the Work parties to help build and plant the swims / Islands and have an input on how the lake will look.
- 20% Discount of your 2nd year joining to say thanks for your support.
- 10% Discount for the 3rd year joining just to say thanks again
