Mark Lloyd of the Angling Trust commented “go-CATCH is a great family game which has been beautifully and thoughtfully designed by an angler. It is packed with tips about bait and tactics that will be a great introduction to angling for beginners of any age.”

The thrill and excitement of a days fishing can be enjoyed as each player chooses their fishing peg and selects their bait and tackle. The beautifully illustrated fish cards indicate which species are feeding and where. Each player must use their keen angling wit to select the correct bait and tackle to tempt their quarry. Casting, striking as the fish take the bait and landing your catch need a skilful hand with the dice.

The winner is the angler with the heaviest catch at the end of the game play.

Mark Lloyd also said “I hope that it inspires lots of people to get into fishing. What's more, £1 from the price of every game will support the work of the Angling Trust fighting to protect and improve fish stocks and fishing.”

The game is being launched during National Fishing Month (16 July - 14 August) and thousands of flyers have been sent to budding new anglers trying the sport for the first time.
