BRASENOSE ONE: Tim "No Catch" Couling had a new PB 31lb mirror using tiger nut boilies and pellets fished in conjunction with pva bags. Bury Hill see’s huge catches of tench, bream and crucian as weather improves! Here is the latest fishing report for Nineoaks Fishery near Aberaeron, Ceredigion in West-Wales. Trout Fishing:- Although July and August, as everywhere has been, were slow and difficult months good fish were still being occasionally caught (see Trout above). Catch Reports 18th August 2009 Mike Dibble fished the River Adur below White Bridge on the evening of the 15th August. Using feeder fished banded pellets it was a bite a chuck from the Skimmers & Mike managed about a dozen to nearly 3lb plus a decent Roach. The total catch on the Blackwater Lodge Salmon Fishery for May was 53 salmon to 13lb. averaging 8.1lb for only 182 rod days. This was the third best ever recorded, & the best since 1996. Last year we had only 22 for May averaging 7.3lb for 132 rod days. News: Pulborough Angling Society will be holding their annual Teach In at Goose Green, near Ashington on Saturday 11th July 2009. Nether Mill Coarse Fishery is my local fishery and I fish it every week ... it's outstanding. It is stocked with loads of fish such as, carp, tench, bream, perch, roach, orfe, eel, ide, skimmers and a few trout. The carp are plentiful, running to a lake record of 20lb+.
