For many, this resulted in a hard day's fishing. However, as temperatures rose and with the wind dropping a little, alongside some sunshine going into the last hour of the match, the venue's shoals of carp and F1s fed remarkably well. It was Jamie…

The Angling Trust's discussions with the Environment Agency on the vexed issues of the coarse angling rod licence for the use of multiple rods and charging juniors to fish look likely to produce a result that will please both youngsters and the many carp and specimen anglers who feel aggrieved at having to buy two separate rod licences. In an answer to a parliamentary question this week, Fisheries Minister George Eustice confirmed proposed changes to the licence from April 2017,…

However, anglers and concerned members of the public were outraged to hear that the large population of fish in the lake…

When the Angling Trust went fishing with Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner Paddy Tipping recently it wasn’t so much about landing a fish as tightening the net on illegal poaching and related criminality.
